Choosing a program for your child is a decision worth making carefully. This page answers the questions parents ask most — from whether it's the right fit, to how you'll actually see what they're learning.
No marketing spin. These are the real questions we get, answered plainly.
Band A (Classes 4–5) starts from scratch — no prior experience assumed. Before the first session, we place every child at the right band. If they're ahead, they go to Band B or C. If they're just starting, Band A is built for that.
Every child has a Builder Map — a live view of every skill in the semester: done, in progress, ahead. At the end of each term you receive a milestone summary with the project your child built and a plain-language "can now" statement.
AI changes the tools, not the thinking. Computational thinking — breaking problems down, spotting patterns, designing systems — is more valuable with AI, not less. Children who understand how software works will use AI deliberately. Children who don't will just follow it.
The Builder Map tracks exactly where each student is. When they return, the mentor knows what was covered and what wasn't. There's no 'you missed it and now you're behind' — they pick up from their actual position.
Apps let children click through pre-made lessons. YouTube lets them watch. Code Camp makes them build — with a real mentor who confirms mastery before any skill is marked complete. Progress is documented, not assumed.
Real things. Band A: animated stories, interactive games, quiz apps. Band B: rule-based systems, first Python programs. Band C: interface-quality digital tools built for real users, finished with a portfolio presentation.
Most programs give you a certificate at the end. Code Camp gives you evidence throughout — not just that your child attended, but what they can now do.
A visual map of every skill in the current semester. You can see what's done (solid), in progress (sketched), and ahead. Updated by the mentor after every session.
A milestone is only marked when a mentor has seen the student demonstrate the skill — a live demo, a question, a working build. Not self-reported, not auto-marked.
Each milestone comes with a "can now" statement written in everyday language — e.g. "Your child can now build an interactive scene where objects respond to user input."
At the end of every semester, you receive a summary of all milestones completed, the projects built, and the skills your child carries into the next term.
Every child enters at the band that fits their age and experience. Each band is two semesters, with mentor-confirmed milestones at every step.
Band A is where every student starts — not because they're young, but because making is how builders think. Students create interactive, animated, and responsive projects with visual tools that bridge imagination and logic.
Band B bridges visual building and text-based code. Students learn to think in systems — inputs, outputs, rules, flows. By the end, they're writing real Python alongside structured visual logic.
Band C students build things for an audience. Projects have users, interfaces, and intent. The focus shifts from "can I make it work?" to "does it work well, and why did I build it this way?"

No. We assess every student before placing them. If they’re ahead, we place them accordingly. Band B and C students are working with real code and real interfaces.
